While in Custer, South Dakota, we participated in the bi-annual Crazy Horse Volksmarch hike. The hike is a 6.2 mile or 10k hike to the top of the world's largest mountain carving in progress in the southern Black Hills of South Dakota.

It was an absolutely beautiful morning and the scale as well as engineering achievement of the Crazy Horse Memorial is breathtaking.
