Knock Knees are caused by an incorrect alignment of the knees, creating a typical "X shape" at the knee joint.

Knocked Knees are common in children and it usually corrects itself as they grow.

However, knock knees in adults can lead to excessive force on the whole kinematic chain which in turn, might lead to further bone deformity, knee instability and excessive wear and tear of the knee joint.
