Sahih Bukhar Hadees Number 500-600 in Urdu/Hindi translation

Namaz is one of the most important pillars of Islam, and it is the duty of every Muslim to perform it regularly and correctly. There are many hadees (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) that describe the virtues, benefits, rules, and etiquette of namaz. Here are some of them:

The Prophet ﷺ said: “The first thing that will be judged among a person’s deeds on the Day of Resurrection is the prayer. If it is sound, then the rest of his deeds will be sound. And if it is bad, then the rest of his deeds will be bad.” (Sahih al-Bukhari: 604)
The Prophet ﷺ said: “The prayer is the light of the believer, the pillar of his religion, and the key to his success.” (Sunan an-Nasa’i: 496)
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever performs the prayer at its time, it will be a witness for him on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever does not perform the prayer at its time, it will be a witness against him on the Day of Resurrection.” (Sunan Ibn Majah: 1079)
The Prophet ﷺ said: “The best of deeds in the sight of Allah is the prayer performed on time.” (Sunan Abu Dawud: 426)
The Prophet ﷺ said: “The most beloved of places to Allah are the mosques, and the most hated of places to Allah are the markets.” (Sahih Muslim: 671)
The Prophet ﷺ said: “When the time for prayer comes, do not say to yourselves: ‘I will pray after a while.’ For Satan may make you forget, and you will miss the prayer. Rather, pray as soon as you hear the call, for that is better for you.” (Sunan al-Tirmidhi: 178)
The Prophet ﷺ said: “When you stand for prayer, say the takbir (Allahu akbar) and then recite what is easy for you from the Quran. Then bow with calmness until you feel at ease, then rise from bowing until you stand straight. Then prostrate with calmness until you feel at ease, then rise from prostration until you sit straight. And do likewise in all your prayers.” (Sahih al-Bukhari: 757)
The Prophet ﷺ said: “The worst of thieves is the one who steals from his prayer.” They asked: “O Messenger of Allah, how does he steal from his prayer?” He said: “He does not complete its ruku’ (bowing) and sujud (prostration).” (Sunan an-Nasa’i: 1424)
The Prophet ﷺ said: “The prayer of a person who does not perform ablution is not valid, and the ablution of a person who does not mention the name of Allah is not valid.” (Sunan Ibn Majah: 424)
The Prophet ﷺ said: “The prayer of a person who does not recite the Fatiha (the opening chapter of the Quran) is invalid.” (Sahih Muslim: 394)
The Prophet ﷺ said: “The prayer of a person who does not have khushu’ (humility and concentration) in his heart is like a pile of rubbish.” (Sunan al-Tirmidhi: 415)
