In this premiere episode of Taste Buds, On My Block's Jason Genao ("Ruby") returns to his hometown roots of Jersey City, New Jersey to share his family's Dominican culture and cuisine with co-star and friend Brett Gray ("Jamal"). The duo are joined by Jason's Mom and Tia (Aunt) who cook up three delicious dishes: Sancocho, Locrio de Longaniza and Flan. Plus, the Freeridge BFFs discuss life after On My Block, what they cooked for each other as former roommates, who Jason's Tia's favorite character really was, and Brett sings a preview of his latest R&B bop.
