On Saturday, April 6, the Wilmington Little League (WLL) baseball fields at 18th and Broom Street were renamed "The Wilmington Little League/Loretta Walsh Fields". It was the official opening ceremony for the 2024 Wilmington Little League season during which Robin Rome, Loretta’s daughter, threw out the first pitch.
