Kristyn tells us that hiring co-op students via the OYAP (Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program) is beneficial to both students and employees alike. High school students gain exposure to a variety of trades, work experiences, and the potential for great careers in the Skilled Trades. Among other things, employers gain access to the right kind of candidates for the jobs that need filling.
