Making it this far is seriously exciting, probably because I have a new toy. I really can't wait to run it. I wouldn't mind upgrading the motor, does anyone have some suggestions? Putting this thing together was very fun, but I feel that the quality was lacking in a few areas. There are unused motor mount holes (they are used for a different gearing) that could allow water into the transmission, along with many other small opening that would allow mud and water into the transmission. Another thing that I did not like was the shock springs did not seem long enough, even though I had consulted the instructions numerous times, I knew I had the shock bodies assembled correctly, and measured the exposed shaft length numerous times. The springs still seemed to short. I will have more on this in the next video.
