When we first drove the then-newly redesigned 3-row Lincoln Aviator two years ago, we concluded that it was indeed the right vehicle for the moment as a premium SUV that delivered honest luxury, undeniable presence and loads of power. A big part of that power push was the optional plug-in hybrid powertrain that comes only with Grand Touring trim.
