The evolution of Sensing, Computing and Architecture in the ADAS Automotive market.

Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS) functionalities were initially developed for safety but are now also used to enable some automated driving features. The implementation of such features requires the use of more sensors, more computing power and a more complex electric/electronic (E/E) architecture.

This webcast, combining Yole Développement and System Plus Consulting knowledge, will discuss the evolution of main sensors used for ADAS: cameras, radars and LiDARS. It will also show the evolution of the E/E architecture and what is needed in terms of computing to enable automated driving features. And a description of the solution from Tesla and Audi, with respectively Autopilot Hardware 3.0 and zFAS platforms, will be performed.
