There are many fans out there that see Thanos is somewhat of a misunderstood anti-hero. Many even go as far as saying that Thanos was the actual hero of Avengers: Infinity War. Be it as it may, this video won’t be a deep dive into the Mad Titan’s complex psychology.
Instead this will be another CBR What If, and this time we will talk about an alternate universe where Thanos is actually a real superhero. Not an anti-hero or a misunderstood villain, but an actual cosmic hero who protects the universe.
This Thanos is known as the Mighty Titan.
How would the MCU change with Thanos being a cosmic hero? Well I think it’s obvious that many things will shift completely. With Thanos being the good guy, he will not be obsessed with balancing the universe and wiping out half of all life. So he won’t use the Infinity Stones to snap his purple fingers. But there is so much more to that.
So let’s dive into the epic story of the Mighty Titan, how this great hero went from being Titan’s protector, to clashing with Galactus. To forming an intergalactic empire of cosmic heroes, to joining the Avengers and so much more.
This MCU will be extremely different. What the universe would look like if Thanos was a hero, if he used his mighty power and obsession for good. Will the universe be a better place or will Thanos’ nature be his curse?
