In this video we some of the work we did on the old house within the first year of purchasing it. We add a covered porch and make an open-concept kitchen and dining area. The Mrs. makes a custom bed frame for us and shows the Craigslist cabinetry we cobbled together for our farmhouse kitchen. Our spring crop of Katahdin sheep lambs are enjoying some new pasture alongside our Berkshire pigs.

About Us: Thanks for joining us and our four homeschooled children behind the scenes as we run our ranch together and enjoy traditional mountain living. We raise Scottish Highland cattle, Katahdin sheep, Berkshire pigs, and barnyard chickens on 100 acres in beautiful scenic Idaho. We are a Christian family that drinks raw milk, raises our own meat, works with our hands, and hunt and fish together to help fill our freezer.

This channel won't be flashy or exciting. We love the beauty of old fashioned slow living as a family. From here on out we plan on posting content from our daily lives around the ranch as we cook and eat together, learn together, build from scratch, steward the land, and tend to livestock as a family. We also make and consume a lot of sourdough bread. :)
