This video is a short course about questions concerning 3d printer (print) failures because of improper bed leveling and nozzle height. It begins by discussing the concepts of print bed surface, nozzle distance, bed leveling and ABL vs manual bed leveling. It includes a demonstration of the steps used highlighting a Creality Ender 5 and a Monoprice Select Mini V2. It then includes a demonstration, how to evaluate a test print and how to adjust a Z offset.

The video uses hands-on examples on a Monoprice Select Mini V2 and a Creality Ender 5. It applies to most FDM style printers include the Prusa i3 MK3, the Creality and the Monoprice line of printers.

The MatterHacker print surface highlighted in the video is available at the following affiliate link at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links help to support this channel.
