Zoo put large chunks of ice inside the enclosure. They have frozen fruits inside. Chimpanzees have to crack the ice to get those fruits.
The air temperature here is around 80°F(27°C) but it may take hours to melt that thick ice.
Chimps are trying to get the fruits inside but the ice is so hard and it's almost impossible to crack it without tools or something.
They may need a hammer or stones to break the ice. Of course, it's too dangerous to give them such stuffs. Eventually, they have to wait for the ice to melt. Meanwhile they eat ice cubes or melon.
