Dorothee Vogel hatte schon immer eine Leidenschaft für Mobiles. Diese spiegelte sich später auch in ihrer Arbeit. Speziell mit dieser Alexander Calder-Skulptur verbindet sie zudem eine persönliche Begegnung aus der Anfangszeit des Museums.

A look at “Otto’s Mobile” (1952) through the eyes of a fashion designer.

Dorothee Vogel has always had a thing for mobiles that would even manifest itself in her work. With this Alexander Calder sculpture in particular she connects a personal encounter from the early days of the museum.
