Earlier this year, I had the privilege to dedicate one month of my life toward volunteering abroad in Africa for the first time. The country I chose to volunteer in was Ghana, which is located in West Africa. I volunteered as an English teacher in a school serving pre-school students all the way til 8th grade.

Throughout this docu-series, I will take you along with me and share my experience with you as much as I can. I hope this gives you an insight into what a volunteer experience would be like, and I hope it inspires some of you to do the same one day.

If you have any questions about volunteering in Africa, or in general, feel free to leave them in a comment below and I'll make sure to help if I can!

I hope you enjoy this series, from my heart to yours đź’“

The Anidaso Nsae Foundation (TANF) is an NGO based in Accra, Ghana, dedicated to the fight against poverty. Anidaso is the Twi word for “Hope” and Anidaso Nsae translates to “There is still hope“. Founded in 2012, TANF’s vision is to contribute to a prosperous and poverty-free Ghana by investing resources into the younger generation and developing sustainable solutions for families to break free from the cycle of poverty.
