On July 26, the Food System Economics Commission, in collaboration with Food and Land Use Coalition, International Food Policy Research Institute and Finance for Biodiversity, convened an official side event for the UN Food Systems Summit Pre-Summit. The session explored the economic and financial policies needed to make food systems healthy for people and the planet, alongside measures to boost ecosystem conservation to preserve the future of food security, providing several examples of successful country cases. ©UN
