Sunday headline act The Killers opened their set at the 2022 Valo Adelaide 500 performing "The Man".

Someone in the sound booth must have gone to grab their coffee and bumped the volume slider because boy it was loud!

Lead singer Brandon Flowers was a great showman onstage and also had a great voice singing live. If you every get a chance to see The Killers perform live, I would recommend heading along.

Fun Fact - Ironically, this song was also played as former South Australian Premier Steven Marshall entered Liberal HQ to celebrate winning the 2018 State election. After only lasting one term, and cancelling the Adelaide 500 being one of the reasons for that, Steven Marshall conceded defeat to Labor Leader Peter Malinauskas at the following State election in March of 2022. In December of 2022 Premier Peter Malinauskas returned the Adelaide 500 to the streets of Adelaide.
