Fishing on a bright sunny day, you always put in your polarized sunglasses in order to cut off some of the glare effect on water.

It is very convenient to see through the water with sunglasses in fishing, but shooting with Gopro you realize you can’t deliver that footage to your audience the same way you experienced while fishing.

You get the idea, this is where the polarization filters come handy.GoPro 9/10 share the same hard case so you can buy a nd or pl filter lens cover for both models.

I decided to buy a hybrid nd/pl filter from freewell because it is much cheaper overall and more convenient if you want a motion blur effect in cinematic scenes.You can also adjust your pl filter with the adjusting layer accordingly.

For most anglers out there a pl filter is just enough for fishing.So if you don’t need a motion blur effect and you don’t shoot cinematic scenes just buy a polarized filter instead.
