Adopting a compact, boxy design, this retro integrated amplifier design takes more than its name from past glories. Paul Rigby looks back at the history of the company, takes a close look at the Stereo 130 and compares it to the Audiolab 6000A

WHERE'S THE BLUETOOTH AERIAL?
I only received this requested information after I uploaded the video, so I placing it here and in the Comments section. According to the company, "...the Walnut wood version of the Stereo 130 doesn’t have/need a Bluetooth aerial; only the aluminium version. This is because the aluminium chassis blocks the Bluetooth signal to a level that the wooden case doesn’t – the wood version receives Bluetooth perfectly well without the need of an aerial."
Which mean the lines of the Walnut version are a lot neater all 'round.
