Electric vehicles are swiftly becoming the number one choice of transportation based on the fact that they are mindful of the environment and they are quite efficient. And with several electric cars paving the way and beating records, one electric car is proving to be the most efficient.

Aptera Motors is an American startup high-efficiency car company based in San Diego, California. And their dream is to produce the most efficient and the longest-range motor vehicle ever designed for mass production.

Aptera was originally founded in 2006 by Steve Fambro and Chris Anthony, but like many electric vehicle startups that wanted money from the government but couldn't get it, they closed up shop. And so in 2011, Aptera's CEOs, after trying so hard to keep their company alive, had to give in and sell off all its assets.
