I show how to repair a non-functioning Fuel Pump on a Sears Tractor (GT-18, ST/16, ST16, SS/16, SS16 or Suburban) - Onan 18 HP or 16 HP Engine with the Marvel Schebler Carburetor. A common problem on ONAN engines is the vacuum powered fuel pump stops pumping fuel to the carburetor. I remove the fuel pump, show how it is assembled and repair a reed valve by carefully bending/repositioning it so it supports/operates correctly, enabling it to work again.
