In this video, I explore, what happened to GameStop, what are the implications, advantages, and disadvantages on both sides, and ultimately what I believe is a much better way to use the power of the community to make consistent profits both long term and short term.

For those not aware, here is a short summary:

#GameStonk - Retail trading community vs Wall Street. Books and Movies will be written about this in years to come, here's what happened💥

The snowball started to roll last year with the advent of commission-free stock buying platforms such as Etoro, Robinhood, and more, where traders can be their own bosses and share their views with others. Then came 2021 and GameStop happened. Thousands of Retail traders in an online forum spotted that GameStop shares were the most👇 shorted shares👇 in the U.S. markets. Then herd mentality kicked as traders started to buy the stock at an unprecedented rate, all the while triggering a short squeeze for the 1% on Wall Street. A scenario where hedge funds and investment banks who sold the stock, rush in to buy back the shares they have borrowed, further upping the demand and reducing the supply. This can easily bankrupt the short-sellers as the loss potential can be infinite, while folks who bought the stock before the short squeeze, reap the rewards as it's price skyrockets. Then Elon Musk took note, made a tweet, and snowballed the situation even more by giving it the necessary attention. The result is a massive reality check to the big boys on Wall Street - Retail traders, together, have just as much power to shift the tide as the 1% at the top. This movement is the living proof of this, just keep in mind that the price has been inflated artificially, and when the majority of buyers cash their gains, it will come crashing down, both buyers and hedge funds will lose money, not so much the sellers who time it right.📉 If you think 2020 was a great year of trading opportunities, be sure this one will be better! 2021 is the year of the retail trader, make no mistake, and choose the right communities to follow!
