After 6 months of ownership I'll share my candid thoughts and feedback by reviewing the Hughes Autoformers Power Watchdog, which is an RV Surge Protector with EPO (Emergency Power Off). This RV Surge Protector comes in two versions, but mine featured in this video is the hardwired version. They also make a plug-in version that is more portable. The Power Watchdog also ensures the voltage going into your RV is in the proper range (over 104 and under 132).

I'll discuss pros and cons along specifically addressing the bluetooth range/connectivity complaints that seemt to be common in reviews of the Hughes Power Watchdog models. Toward the end of the video I'll share some tips for the install of the hardwired version, particularly useful if you have a transfer switch in your RV like me.
