The Eternals are coming! Eventually. Soon? Maybe. Please Stand By. But they’ll be here one day and with their arrival, the entire MCU is going to change. The Eternals are...well… Eternal and live for basically ever so their movie is going to have a lot of ground to cover. I mean most MCU movies seem to take place over the course of a few days minus some exceptions, so it’s going to be interesting to see how the Eternals cover thousands upon thousands of years in like a 2 and a half hour time frame don’t you think? But although they have a deep and rich history, there’s one part of their backstory that should absolutely be touched upon, and that’s Thanos on his home planet of Titan!

The Mad Titan was the greatest enemy the Avengers have ever faced, but there’s still so much we don’t know about him. It was revealed in that brief Red Skull scene in Infinity War that his father was A’lars, and although that may seem like a throwaway line, it actually opens the door for an Eternals connection. You see, the Eternals are the beings who created the colony on Titan in the first place, so essentially, they created Thanos. Now with a movie exploring the Eternals, we could finally see the creation of Titan and how it’s downfall led Thanos to go on his rampage. It will open up a new side to Thanos that we haven’t seen before and introduce us to the rest of his family. That’s right! Thanos has a family! I know it’s easier to think Thanos was alone his entire life, but just like everyone, he had a mom and dad, as well as a brother! So by showing us his lineage, the Eternals has a chance to reshape our whole perception of Thanos and his overall mission, which is just fascinating!
