A deserted WW 2 Royal Air Force airfield station, complete with numerous pillboxes located around the perimeter and a derelict watch tower, near Churchstanton on the Blackdown Hills, Somerset, near Taunton. Rumour has it there's also a vast underground bunker somewhere in the area, possibly adapted during the cold war. Whatever the case, the entire area is intriguing, with huge solar farms, wind turbine, over-flow car parking, security surveillance and high barbed wire fencing.
