Gigafactory Texas on 20 September 2021! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built!

Another great day to fly at Giga Texas and they are off to the races on what looks to be another very busy week!

Dozens of semi-trucks bringing all kinds of special deliveries to Giga Texas today! Also, we note the continuing assembly of Giga Press #3 and some parts of Giga Press #4 may be on site as well.

In addition to all the Giga Texas coverage, images, discussion, and video, I would like to take a moment and ask for your support to help SpaceX launch and build Starships at Boca Chica, TX. Here are the highlights from today's video:
- It appears industrial dehumidifiers and components are being delivered and hoisted up into the 3rd floor of the battery cell structure this morning, along with several very noticeable interior work items being accomplished this morning.
- The casting machine structure show the two new giga press foundations and mounting frames are almost completed and work just to the north appears to show preparation for either another large, reinforced slab, or more giga press foundations. At the speed they are moving, we should have a pretty good idea later this week. Assembly of Giga Press #3 is about 75 % completed and there may be parts for Giga Press #4 also.
- At the stamping machine structure, we continue to see semi-trucks backed into the loading areas, likely unloading a lot more materials, equipment, and possible interior furnishings to the south end of the structure.
- On the east side, we see a growing amount of steel parts (columns, beams, etc…) and we get a close look at a label on one of the large columns indicating/confirming that this is for the battery cathode plant. The label indicates this column is huge (15,000 pounds or 6,940 Kgs and 57 feet or about 17 meters tall)! It is possible they are stockpiling all the steel they need.
- We also see a large amount of big-diameter piping delivered near the old batch plant.
- The General Assembly structure south end perimeter grade beam work has reached the east end, and footings bridging to the stamping machine structure are visible. The final roofing insulation and weatherproof linings are in the final area on the south end too, making quick progress.
- The east side driving/parking and/or loading ramp of the Body-in-White structure shows large areas that have had concrete poured and others with rebar installed ahead of receiving concrete.
- The former robotic storage area on the east side near the water detention pond is now almost totally cleared of materials, equipment, vehicles, and structures … this may be prepared as a parking area.
- In the central area, we see a lot of footing work, with a large area of the north end filled with dirt and being compacted, while the final form work on the huge columns is underway this morning. We get a good look at the footings that were jackhammered on the west side of the pit, while footings on the east side are progressing quickly.
