Inspired by the self-help book “Proof of Happiness", (1969) and adapted into a movie-parable. A retired psychiatrist is inspired by his unusually joyful patient in a wheelchair, decides to conduct a study on the subject of anxiety and depression with live subjects in a controlled environment. All subjects agree to no outside influences and must abide by rules of lowering their guard, listen to others, and have compassion for their fellow subjects. The study discovered some compelling truths that resonate with today’s current state.
