Today DJI has released a new firmware update (V01.00.0820) for the Smart Controller adding compatibility with the DJI Mavic Air 2. Once updated you can now bind and fly your Mavic Air 2 with the Smart Controller to take advantage of all its features. The update adds the DJI Fly app which is necessary to fly the Mavic Air 2. In this video, I show you how to download and install the new firmware update, how to bind the Mavic Air 2 to the Smart Controller and how to use the Aircraft management to switch back and forth between drones you have added.
