For the next three nights, we're staying at a historic landmark tucked away in over 300 acres of forest and it's only a 30-minute drive from Seattle! The building was originally completed in 1931 and operated as a seminary for about 45 years. When the seminary closed in 1976, the building sat empty for 45 years.

Upon decades of deterioration, the property went through a $57 million restoration. While preserving its history, the building transformed into a luxury boutique hotel called The Lodge with a restaurant, spa, two bars and an art gallery. There’s also a gymnasium where you can play pickleball! The Lodge also hosts weekly yoga classes, live music, afternoon high tea, weddings, corporate meetings and more.

Thanks to The Lodge for hosting our stay and sponsoring this video! We hope you enjoy our tour of this historical landmark. I visited The Lodge twice before for fun (once for lunch and once for cocktails) before this collaboration. Thrilled to sleepover on this third visit and share the extensive tour!
