Day 23 : 1st Painting Day (Ceiling, living room, bed rooms) + Gas Pipe Installation, Dismantled Gas Meter
Day 26 : Painting (wrong colour??), bedroom doors & maindoor installations, check current air-con piping (to re-lay three days later as current piping is blocking the newly hacked doorway)
Day 29 : Air-conditional (supply labour & material to install Mitsubishi 10k single Starmex Inverter split-type air conditioners, redo system 3 piping for existing a/c, 2 years warranty)
Day 29 Night : Arrival of toilet vanity purchased from Ezbuy (60cm and 70cm)
Day 31 : Plumber installed toilet vanity, mirror cabinet, basin, bidet spray, instant heater, other toilet accessories. Test water pressure of the water heater. To change common bathroom mixer later. Painter rectifying living room and bedrooms wall Nippon paint to snow white. Installed washing machine pipe and snowy tap. ID sent carpentry works measurement today, to check and confirm layout then can start fabricate.
Day 34 : Most lighting works (changed from square downlight to round downlight) are done except those in kitchen and master bedroom (guess is waiting for carpentry works - kitchen cabinet, master wardrobe), frameless (we thought is black frame) fixed panel was installed. Opennet relocation and data point.
Day 36: Send the cooking hob & hood over, bought a set of Aerogaz cooking Hood & Hob at less than $500. Got an inexpensive brand and model, not sure if we will cook frequently. Model: Hood AZ-9100 Black, Year 2021 New, Touch Panel, No buttons, 900mm, paired with Hob 790x500, black, tempered glass
Day 38: Check with ID when can done and handover (A: one more month to complete all and handover) Thought it will be done soon since progress quite well. Guess the delay is due to Covid-19 situation so carpentry work is delayed. No choice but to wait... ... ...
Day 39 : Send the black mixer and black hose over, to replace the existing one (silver colour) in the common bathroom. New electrical work done: shifted the power point to the left (too near the hood), modified master room new power point cable location, concealed new data point wiring. Measure shoe rack, cabinet and curtain track length.
Day 42 : Send additional bathroom accessories over. Planning not to visit that frequent after this since it need one more month to get the renovation done... (ADD ON: DIDN'T KNOW THAT I WILL BE SURPRISED IN THE NEXT VISIT). Asked ID to dismantle the existing doorbell. Kitchen cabinet internal PVC chose earlier is out of stock, re choose one... On-going painting works
Day 47 : Last visited 5 days ago. Quite surprising when I come today. Floor protection paper was removed, debris was cleared, general cleaning is completed......Feel like moving in now!!! Smell main door paint, should be doing painting works today...
Day 48 : Come at daytime today to check the tile grouting, a lot got washed off after the cleaning. Planned to do marking but there are too many... may get the ID / contractor to check on their own... plaster touch up is done for some minor crack at bathroom box-up.
Day 49 : Send the ceiling fixed cloth drying accessories over so they can help to dismantle the existing one and change to a new pair
Day 53 : No further progress
Day 54 : No further progress, go and confirm the slanted bedframe measurement, check the frosted glass sticker measurement, curtain track measurement, and also art paint size~
Day 58 : Send the boom shelter T-catch door magnet there, to replace. bump into the ID~ he said one or two more weeks can get the carpentry works done, fabricating now. To touch up paint, recheck grouting, remove existing metal door lock and also dismantle the existing doorbell socket.
Day 67 : didnt came here for quite a while due to waiting for carpentry fabrication, surprisingly, those materials are here and 50% of the carpentry works is completed.
Day 68 : Gas pipe, check water heater with electricity on, go IKEA, no suitable curtain width, got a set of white sheer curtains, foam mattress, mirror and some other items spent total SGD 200+
