Certified registered nurse anesthetists, also called CRNAs, are the highest paid nurse, according to data released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

CRNAs are advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs) who have received additional schooling (Masters or Doctorate) and training to administer anesthesia.

Do nurse anesthetists make good money? How much money does a CRNA make per year or per hour? According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average salary for a nurse anesthetist in 2020 was $189,190, and the average hourly wage was $90.96.
