My airplane window view flying over Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Adams (the trifecta) above the clouds. Our 747 plane took off from Seattle SEA-TAC Airport below the gloomy, rainy clouds and flew up above the cloud layer into beautiful sunshine. It was there we could see Mount Rainier, Mount Saint Helens and Mount Adams peaking up over the clouds in the Pacific Northwest. Imagine all three of these volcanoes popping off at the same time?!

MOUNT RAINIER:
Mount Rainier, also known as Tahoma or Tacoma, is a large active stratovolcano in Cascadia located 59 miles south-southeast of Seattle, in Mount Rainier National Park.

Elevation: 14,411′
Last eruption: 1894
First ascent: August 17, 1870
Prominence: 13,212′
Mountain range: Cascade Range

MOUNT SAINT HELENS:
Mount St. Helens is an active stratovolcano located in Skamania County, Washington, in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It is 50 miles northeast of Portland, Oregon and 96 miles south of Seattle, Washington.

Last eruption: July 10, 2008
Elevation: 8,366′
First ascent: 1853
Mountain range: Cascade Range

MOUNT ADAMS:
Mount Adams, known by some Native American tribes as Pahto or Klickitat, is a potentially active stratovolcano in the Cascade Range. Although Adams has not erupted in more than 1,000 years, it is not considered extinct. It is the second-highest mountain in the U.S. state of Washington, after Mount Rainier.

Elevation: 12,280′
First ascent: 1854
Last eruption: 550 BC

I filmed this October 2019 with the GoPro Hero 7 Black hyper smooth HD camera.

I hope you enjoy my airplane view video.
