Shelby American has unveiled its first impressive car, the Shelby Super Snake.
It is built on the basis of the 2024 Ford Mustang S650.
This car looks more aggressive thanks to a widebody kit, which includes an aluminium hood with carbon fibre vents, carbon fibre front fenders with vents, redesigned front fascia with larger vents, a carbon front splitter, rockers and rear diffuser.
The car will be available as a coupe with a carbon fiber Super Snake rear wing or a convertible with a Ducktail spoiler.

The Super Snake offers customized settings, unique design elements and two engine options.
5.0-liter Coyote V-8 with 480 hp or a supercharged version of this engine with 830 hp.
The 5.0-liter Ford Coyote engine combined with a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger is a powerful powerplant that delivers a staggering 830+ horsepower.
The Shelby Super Snake will be available with a 6-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission.

To cope with the increased performance, Shelby engineers equipped the Super Snake with an upgraded suspension for more precise handling, a Borla exhaust system for improved gas flow, more powerful brakes.
The cooling system was improved with an updated radiator and heat exchanger.
The Super Snake rides on lightweight 20-inch magnesium alloy wheels that increase maneuverability and responsiveness.

Inside, Shelby installs special leather and Alcantara seats, embroidered floor mats, Super Snake sill plates, a serial plate on the dashboard, and Cobra puddle lamps.
Manual-equipped cars will be fitted with a short shifter with a Shelby ball knob, as well as a one-piece driveshaft.

Shelby American plans to produce only 250 copies of the car, and production will begin this summer.
