Woolly hollow state park was one of our favorite places to camp. The campground is spacious, it has asphalt mostly level sites that are large. Each spot has a fire ring and picnic table. All spots are full hookups. There are modern bath houses with showers, pavilions and picnic areas. There is a dock to fish from and a swim beach.

This park is on a lake that provides a beautiful waterfall. It has great hiking trails and mountain bike trails. You can rent paddle boats here and the fishing is pretty good I hear. There is a historic cabin on the property that is pretty neat. The rangers here are super nice and watch over things very well.
