How to make flatbread with a twist: sweet potato roti!
With only 2 ingredients, it’s pretty hard to mess this recipe up so it’s perfect for home bakers – or just those curious to try sweet potato flatbread now that we’ve all got a little more time on our hands.

A couple tips before you get started…
1. Watch the video. (lol kidding, but I do give you a step by step guide with close up that will help a lot if you’ve never made sweet potato roti or just a flatbread recipe in general!)
2. Always add flour! Sweet potatoes have a wonderful flavour that can stand up to flour – so if you’re having trouble rolling out your roti, more flour will help a lot.
3. Don’t forget to steam! This is an important step that helps you get a super soft flatbread that you can use in wraps and all sorts – so don’t skip this step.

Measurements are super flexible but start off with a 1:1 ratio of sweet potato to flour and you can add more flour as you go.
