Blue Beetle - Official Trailer | BINGE TWINS REACT FOR THE FIRST TIME!

As we near James Gunn's Chapter 1 of the new DCU, entitled 'Gods & Monsters', the BINGE TWINS are back with a new trailer reaction to Blue Beetle!

Jaime Reyes suddenly finds himself in possession of an ancient relic of alien biotechnology called the Scarab. When the Scarab chooses Jaime to be its symbiotic host, he's bestowed with an incredible suit of armor that's capable of extraordinary and unpredictable powers, forever changing his destiny as he becomes the superhero Blue Beetle.

Blue Beetle may not be one of our personal favorite superheroes, but we know that he is very powerful and very significant to the the new DC slate. This movie directly follows the June release of The Flash in the Universe Preset prologue to James Gunn's Chapter 1. In animated series, Blue Beetle has been seen fighting alongside Batman and several other Justice League members, so this could be a valuable nugget in a grand scheme to get back to some ensemble casts. Young Justice is a noteworthy project that we would love to see someone take on in the future!

Summer 2023 is looking like a DCU summer, especially with so much buzz surrounding The Flash movie. While we are saying goodbye to some epic performances by the likes of Henry Cavill and maybe even Gal Gadot, it's time to look forward to what's next. Gunn and his team are building out an entire universe so the least we can give them is some grace and time to do just that. Blue Beetle is a movie that can help solidify their new formula and the new look of the DCU after the reset in The Flash!
