Everyone knows Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff and she’s set to play the popular Avenger again in Marvel Studios’ Black Widow 2021. Once upon a time, though, Rebecca Romijn’s name was attached to the Black Widow 2004 film. On paper, it sounded like it would’ve been everything that fans had wanted and more.

However, the film never went ahead as Marvel’s Black Widow eventually fell under the MCU umbrella, making Hayter’s plans completely obsolete. Like most other canceled movies, it’s become a product that has everyone wondering how it would’ve turned out and if it could’ve been great.
