A fire began when the female resident reportedly plugged in a lamp and it started to spark. Both she and the male resident ran out of the house and one of them tripped injuring themself.
Firefighters arrived to find a large fire and heavy smoke coming from the side and rear of the home. The fire was put out within 15 minutes, but there is heavy damage throughout the house.
The residents will be displaced along with their dog. The American Red Cross has been asked to come and aid the residents. No one else was injured.
