In this session, I started by laying out the broad themes for the class - that valuation is a craft, that value is different from price, that a good valuation links story to numbers and that acting on valuation requires faith. I followed up by setting up the logistics of the class, including the quizzes and exams that will be used to grade the class. (For some reason peculiar to Zoom, the slides don't show up for the first ten minutes of class, but they are in the start of the class link. The rest of the class should match the slides.... Sorry!)
