On 20 July 1944, an attempt was made to assassinate Adolf Hitler by several groups within the German Resistance. It was very nearly successful. This film shows good footage of the bombed headquarters and Hitler greeting Benito Mussolini with his uninjured left hand to greet him and Graziani.
