This video is a combination of a guided tour around the approximate boundary of the UNESCO World Heritage designated area, which we'll now call the world heritage area, combined with an editorial, in which I give my views on the delisting of Liverpool and explain why the UNESCO decision is wrong.

8:26 The Albert Dock and why delisting was wrong

We start in the northern docks area next to Stanley Dock, then we take a look at Bramley Moore dock in its present derelict state, with visualisations of the Everton FC football stadium project. It's this project that was apparently the final straw with UNESCO, persuading them to withdraw UNESCO world heritage status.

But as I point out, Liverpool is already recognised as an important city for all the reasons mentioned by UNESCO. We continue around the area visiting the Stanley Flight, Princes Dock and the Pier Head. \

We take a brief look at Dresden and its Waldschlösschenbrücke - bridge - which caused UNESCO to withdraw its status. What damage was caused and what effect has the bridge had on Dresden?

We move further on around the boundary of the UNESCO area, roughly following the map, around Lime Street Station and through the heart of Liverpool, down to the south docks, past the Albert Dock and finishing at the Pier Head.

This video was made live from the celebrated Baltic Fleet pub near the Albert Dock at 6pm, Friday 13th of August, 2021. I am not superstitious. I am international and multi-cultural, and in some cultures 13 is lucky! I hope this video will help to spread the truth about Liverpool.
