Calico Days is an annual event that is held at the Calico Ghost Town. It's an event to commemorate the mining town's history. A weekend revisiting the old western times of the 1800's. The event has musical entertainment, costume contest, wester gun fights and a lot of activities for kids... and adults.

Since we planned on attending this event, we might as well spend the night at the BLM land and do some trails in Calico. This is not our first trip here but we have lots more trails to explore in this area.

Since we have a stock Subaru Crosstrek in our fleet, we made it a point that this trail run would be an easy one.

It's good to see that there are a lot less trash seen in the place from the last time we were here.
