The new Niro benefits from many other convenience features including the
remote parking assistance system (RSPA) and charging function
bi-directional (V2D – Vehicle to Device). The RSPA system allows the driver to
leave your vehicle before parking it and carrying out the maneuver by pressing a
simple button on the remote control. In tight spaces, the vehicle is able to
park by itself by moving forward and backward in a straight line using its cameras at
panoramic vision and its ultrasonic sensors. V2D technology (from 3 kW on the
Niro EV), which has already proven its usefulness on the Kia EV6, makes it possible to use energy
unused battery to power external electrical devices through the function
bi-directional battery pack of the 100% electric Kia Niro.

It only takes 43 minutes to recharge from 10 to 80% (on a 300 kW charger or 45 minutes on
100 kW charger) the 64.8 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery of the 100% electric Kia Niro
with a DC fast charger. This is a time saving of 15% compared to its
predecessor. In cold weather, when a charging station is selected as
destination, the 100% electric Kia Niro uses its pre-conditioning system
battery managed by the navigation to preheat its battery, thus reducing the
charging time The new Niro
is equipped with a CCS quick charge socket for added convenience.
The hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions retain a remarkable capacity of
1,300 kg braked towing. The new 100% electric Kia Niro offers a
towing capacity of 750 kg, allowing customers to give free rein to their
cravings for adventure, without emitting the slightest polluting emissions.
