Is it more fun to drive a slow car fast? John Barrett sure thinks it is. Which is why you'll often see him stroll past his Ford Ranchero gasser, his pair of CobraJet 429 Ford Torinos, and his Mercury Comet GT to hop into his 1991 Honda Beat and hit the road for some high-revving Kei car fun. At just 1600 pounds, this little silver car revs to 9000 RPM with it's mid-mounted 3-cylinder engine making a whopping 63 horsepower. Says John about his right-hand drive Japanese import, "Even though it sounds like you’re going crazy, you’re really not going that fast, but you’ve got a lot of smiles.”
