The judge in Donald Trump’s New York hush money trial is showing “overwhelming” bias after accusing the former US president of trying to intimidate a potential juror, says Sky News host Rita Panahi.

“The juror in question was trying to explain why she had posted a video on social media showing people celebrating on the streets of New York when Donald Trump lost the 2020 election,” Ms Panahi said.

“Trump was muttering something to his lawyer … and this judge decided that amounted to intimidation.

“He also decided that any individual who had posted anti-Trump content on social media was a fit and proper person to sit in the jury pool.

“The bias of this judge is overwhelming.”
