Was pleasantly surprised when I walked into IMTS 2022 and found this MASSIVE showing of smart machine tools. The thing that I noticed right off the bat was the visual quality of these machines. Big tables, big castings, nice galvanized way covers, sturdy looking coolant rings, big beefy door rollers and swing open doors for large envelope machining. Lots of really attractive sales points on these machines

To top it all off TRANSPARENT PRICING!!! I only saw 4 companies that were super transparent or had their pricing listed on their machines. SMART, SYIL, HAAS and Bantam. There may have been more but what a breath of fresh air to find companies that allow you to see what a machine is going to cost or ballpark when you're in the market to make a purchase.

Overall these machines really were so impressive.
