Karen Read, the woman accused of killing her Boston cop boyfriend, John O’Keefe, is set to head to trial this week. Investigators believe Read backed her car into O’Keefe and left him to die in the snow back in January of 2022 — but Read claims she’s innocent, saying another Boston police officer killed him after a night of drinking. Read pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder. If convicted, she could face life in prison. Law&Crime’s Terri Austin breaks down the upcoming trial.
