NAMASTE everyone

As an Indian, I had this project in mind for quite a while. Indian history is huge, complex and veeeery disjointed with every region having its own unique history spanning millennia.

But, after going through tonnes of Wikipedia pages, maps and other miscellaneous sources, here is a showreel of Disney songs (as well as songs from disney-owned studio films) in historically official languages used in the areas within India of today.

This list is certainly NOT complete. India has 22 recognised languages which are official at the province level. Plus, many other languages (both indigenous and foreign) have been used in India but they don't have Disney films officially dubbed in them yet.

But, it is a humble first-attempt and I hope you enjoy getting to know a little bit of linguistic history of this huge and diverse country, which rightfully, is a subcontinent in its own right.
