For years I used a windshield suction cup mount to hold my iPhone when on road trips. The problem is that the iPhone would constantly overheat when direct sun hit it. So, I decided to try out a AC Vent type mount and see how that compared. I got the Vicseed Easy Clip mount, and here is my review of it. I use it in both my Jeep Grand Cherokee and Aston Martin Vanquish, and it works great in both cars - much better than the old suction cup mount. However, we'll see in the summer when it's 100º outside if having a vent blocked is still worth it.
