SIEM REAP — After leaving Cambodia 50 years ago at the age of two, European Union Ambassador to ASEAN Sujiro Seam recently made his way back to his country of birth, visiting places in Phnom Penh where his family used to live and work.

On April 13, Ambassador Seam discussed in Siem Reap city the diplomatic relations between the European Union and ASEAN, and also what the region of the Angkor Archeological Park may represent on the global stage. He also recommends tourists to visit the Angkor Region for at least three days to better experience the site.
